So they decided to create a video… But not just any video! They created the first official animated explainer video… 

AND IT WORKED!

The new video overcame the confusion barriers and positioned DropBox as a ‘magical bottomless box’ for your computer.

And it played a critical role in boosting revenue to its first $48 million.  (DropBox is now worth over $10 billion)

For the first three years of DropBox’s existence their homepage consisted of just a video and a button.
